NDDOT Equipment Operator II Salary: $4,840 / month NDDOT Equipment Operator I Salary: $4,289 / month This position qualifies for a Regional Pay Differential of $800 per month, totaling: $5,640/month $67,680/year Equivalent to $32.54/hour, and the position is eligible for overtime pay. Typically scheduled for a 10-hour shift Monday through Thursday from May 1 to October 31, providing a 3-day weekend during summer. Benefits include paying 100% of the family health care premium (worth over $1,900/month) with a low $500 deductible, accrued annual and sick leave, and a generous retirement plan. As an Equipment Operator, you will perform highway, roadway, and structure maintenance, including operating heavy equipment, snow and ice removal, installing and repairing highway signs and guardrails, and debris removal. You will also handle building and ground maintenance, routine vehicle maintenance, and complete necessary paperwork. Training and construction duties are part of the role, emphasizing safety at all times. Minimum Qualifications
Equipment Operator II: Valid North Dakota Class A driver license without air brake restrictions, cargo tank endorsement, and two years relevant experience or one year plus one winter season of similar operations. Equipment Operator I: Valid North Dakota Class B driver license without air brake restrictions. This role requires availability for emergency work, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays, and contingent employment based on background checks and screenings. About Team ND
