About the Position: This is a Limited Term position which may be extended to 24 months or become permanent. Responsibilities
Lead transit coordinator duties and provide the team with transit data from internal and external sources. Support the evaluation of modeling data; coordinate with contractors and Caltrans staff for special projects, grants, and document delivery. Assist in scoping projects, developing work plans, quarterly reports, contract management, and invoicing; review and comment on deliverables. Provide Geographic Information System (GIS) support and preparation of system planning documents; support other special projects. As a District Transit coordinator, compile information, compose text, and assess material for transit issues. Prepare and update corridor studies and other related District 10 System Planning documents; research and assemble highway and census data from government agencies, traffic modeling, forecasting, traffic operations units, and land use planners. Utilize various software applications to compile data into functional documents with graphs, charts, tables, and maps; work with Program Project Management staff to update project lists.
