Our Client, a Mass Media and Entertainment company, is looking for a Business Analyst - Generalist II for their Remote location.

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise on Workday reporting tools to help map business requirements to the right tooling

Support our Workforce Analytics Teams by offering up qualified and often enriched Workday data for given use cases

Assist with BAU reporting needs, handling change requests and dealing with incidents/service requests where specialist input is needed to find a resolution

Ensure the highest level of data quality of deliverable through robust testing and data validations

Accountable to deliver on a portfolio of strategically important P&C data projects/initiatives that can span across multiple business functions

Engage with P&C Partners and COEs to optimize existing reports to pinpoint standardization opportunities and drive efficiency, performance and usability

Promote a strong data culture within P&C to drive data engagement and literacy so teams feel empowered to make data-driven decisions

Additional duties as assigned – This role will be working with Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (SPII).

Requirements

5+ years of experience; Report Writer, Absence, Time Tracking, Calculated Fields, and Compensation reporting are essentials in this role.

Functional Expertise in Excel

5+ years of experience; Pivot Tables, Excel Functions, and Data Validation within Excel

Experience Tracking Work with a Cloud-Based WorkFlow Automation Platform (ServiceNOW, Monday.com, Jira, etc.)

5+ years of experience; High levels of organization when managing multiple projects and workflows; Communicative with stakeholders; Prioritization skills.

WorkDay – PRISM Experience

Tableau Experience for Dashboarding

Proven expertise as an SME in the Workday Reporting and Prism Analytics space with hands-on experience in Workday Reports; including Advanced, Matrix & Composite report types

Experience with Dashboarding in Workday; exposure to Discovery Boards is beneficial

Proven track record in delivering on large scale HR transformations projects; in a consulting capacity preferred

In-depth knowledge of the Workday Object Model, Workday Report Writer and Calculated Field development

Good grasp of leading practices when it comes to Workday Report development; report type selection, data access methods, naming conventions etc.

Ability to drive requirements gathering to capture business needs and translate them Workday solutions

Knowledge and understanding of key finance / HR processes relating to position management/workforce planning and the employee journey (onboarding, retention, separation etc.)

Knowledge of Workday Security and how that can impact report design and data access

Excellent problem-solving capabilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate complex HR system concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Expertise in data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and knowledge of data visualization tools and platforms (ideally Tableau)

Workday HCM Certified (Pro or Implementer)

Workday Advanced Reporting Certified (Pro or Implementer)

Workday Prism Certified (Pro or Implementer)

This role is remote which requires ability to work autonomously.
