The LATAM Partner Management team is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead our payment performance initiatives for credit card payments. This role is critical in driving the success of Amazon's payment processing capabilities in LATAM, sitting at the intersection of product, engineering, and strategic partnerships.
Key job responsibilities
Drive end-to-end program management for card network partnerships, including implementation, monitoring, and optimization of performance metrics.
Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Engineering, and Partnership teams to enhance reliability and operational efficiency.
Own incident management processes and partner communications, ensuring quick resolution and minimal business impact.
Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key partners, facilitating strategic alignment between Amazon leadership and partner stakeholders.
Identify and implement scalable solutions to streamline operations and enhance partnership effectiveness.
Analyze operational data to drive insights and inform strategic decision-making.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in payments/financial services
Demonstrated experience in managing complex, cross‑functional programs with multiple stakeholders
Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, particularly credit card payment methods and processing
Proven track record of analyzing performance metrics and implementing data‑driven improvements
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience managing both internal and external relationships
Strong business judgment and ability to make strategic trade‑offs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
Basic to intermediate SQL proficiency
Deep knowledge of card network (Visa, Mastercard) operations and international payment transactions
Experience working in acquirer, fintech, or scale‑up environments
MBA or relevant advanced degree
Experience working in payments industry in LATAM or any emerging market
