We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth in our service territories for all brands and divisions. The selected candidate will identify, pursue, and secure new business relationships in the commercial cleaning, janitorial, maintenance/construction and electrical sectors. The ideal applicant has experience building relationships with decision makers for property management and facility management firms and a proven track record of achieving growth goals. This position reports to senior leadership and works closely with operations, to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients. Key Responsibilities
Prospect, qualify, and generate leads within property management, commercial real estate, facility management, corporate, hospitality, healthcare, educational, and retail sectors Conduct outreach through cold calls, emails, referrals, networking events, industry trade shows, and digital platforms Develop and deliver persuasive proposals, presentations, and tailored service packages Maintain a strong sales pipeline and track all metrics through CRM systems Build long-term client relationships and encourage renewals and service expansions Attend industry events and conferences to promote brand awareness and generate leads Develop messaging and outreach strategies, including creation of content for social media/digital platforms, building a strong following for company and leadership accounts Stay informed on competitor activity, pricing, and market trends Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets Qualifications
Minimum of three years of B2B sales experience, preferably in facility services, janitorial, HVAC, construction, or property services. Must have property management/facility management contacts in NYC and surrounding areas (especially Westchester county, North Jersey, CT) Proven success in generating leads and closing deals Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills Ability to build credibility with decision makers such as property managers and facility directors Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented with strong time management skills Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot Understanding of service contracts, scopes of work, and maintenance budgets Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory Willingness to work flexible hours when needed for client meetings or events Compensation and Benefits
