The
Project Administrator
position requires development of detailed/complex contract deliverables for the Afloat Global Installation Contract (GIC) aboard U.S. Navy vessels and shore sites undergoing alterations. Tasks include reviewing installation design packages, building Bill of Materials (BOMs), writing subcontracting Statements of Work (SOWs), managing change order processes, reviewing and developing Task Order reports, and coordinating with project managers and site leads for documentation deliverables. Skills and Abilities
Gather data and assist in preparing bid proposal estimates and developing BOM spreadsheets Review installation drawing packages to develop BOMs Develop, review, and submit Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) Manage change order processes Upload documentation in MODTracker or SharePoint Requirements
2+ years experience with spreadsheets, document management, financial analysis, data collection, reading milestone schedules, travel arrangements, security documentation At least 1 year of work experience within DOD or DOD contractor organization Familiarity with electrical equipment, materials, and specifications Experience reading and interpreting installation drawing packages Experience with contract documents such as drawings, subcontracts, addendums, specifications, and change orders Experience performing complex estimating Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel Efficient clerical skills, typing 65-75 WPM Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work Teamwork skills and stable employment history Must pass a background check Experience
Minimum of 4 years in a related field. Education
High School Diploma or GED Certifications and Licenses
Valid Driver’s License Additional Skills
Active secret security clearance (desirable) This position supports a U.S. Government contract requiring U.S. Citizenship Willingness to travel to various work sites Physical and Other Abilities
