Base pay range $31.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Our client, a leader in the power sports industry, is seeking an experienced eCommerce Marketplace Specialist for a 6+ month contract role in Plymouth, MN. This role is hybrid (onsite 2 days, remote 3 days per week). Heavier onsite presence will be required during training period.
Overview This plays a key role in supporting the growth and optimization of presence across major online marketplaces including Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. They will work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to execute listing strategies, analyze performance trends, and enhance product visibility.
Responsibilities
Manage product listings across Amazon, eBay and Walmart, including all content, images, product attributes and A+ content
Write and optimize product copy with a strong understanding of marketplace SEO best practices to improve discoverability, engagement, and conversion across listings, aligned with brand guidelines
Create and optimize A+ content by collaborating with creative teams to develop visually compelling assets, including enhanced brand modules and imagery—while ensuring consistency in visual identity
Analyze large datasets to uncover performance trends, identify growth opportunities, and support strategic decisions
Create and maintain dashboards or reports on sales, traffic, conversion rates, and listing status
Perform monthly catalog reviews to identify low sales performance, error volume, compliance issues and make recommendations for catalog management
Use platforms like Rithum and Helium 10 for keyword research, competitive analysis, and product tracking
Coordinate with third‑party vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement marketplace enhancements
Actively monitor and assist in resolving listing errors, policy violations, and customer service escalations
Stay current on marketplace trends, algorithm changes, and new features to drive continuous improvement
Document and refine operational processes to support scalability and efficiency
Support weekly meetings with core marketplaces team, helping to identify priorities, address roadblocks, review KPIs, troubleshoot issues or prep materials for team to execute against
Manage marketplace email mailboxes, including correspondence with dealers
Meet deadlines, prioritize projects, and communicate any at‑risk items to leadership, as needed
Qualifications
2–4 years of hands‑on experience managing or supporting e‑commerce marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Walmart)
Proficiency with marketplace tools such as Rithum, Jungle Scout, Helium 10, or similar
Detail‑oriented, data‑savvy, curious and collaborative, with a strong understanding and experience with marketplaces and related tools
Experience designing and publishing Amazon A+ content
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and extract actionable insights, specifically with Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with SEO, product research and copywriting best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, or related field preferred
