Title : Ecommerce Marketplace Specialist – Parts, Garments & Accessories
Job Type : Contract
Compensation : $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (W2)
About the Role We are hiring on behalf of a leading brand in the powersports and outdoor recreation industry. This company is known for its innovation, performance-driven products, and strong presence across digital and physical retail channels. As they continue to expand their ecommerce footprint, they are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Ecommerce Marketplace Specialist to support their growth across Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in marketplace operations who is ready to take ownership of tactical execution while contributing to strategic initiatives. You’ll work closely with a senior digital marketing leader and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to optimize product listings, drive performance, and enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage product listings across Amazon, eBay, and Walmart, including content, imagery, attributes, and enhanced content (A+)
Write and optimize product copy using marketplace SEO best practices
Collaborate with creative teams to develop and upload visual assets, ensuring proper sizing and brand consistency
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Maintain dashboards and reports on sales, traffic, conversion rates, and listing health
Conduct monthly catalog reviews to address performance and compliance issues
Use tools like Rithum, Jungle Scout, and Helium 10 for keyword research and competitive analysis
Coordinate with third‑party vendors to resolve issues and implement enhancements
Monitor and resolve listing errors, policy violations, and customer escalations
Stay informed on marketplace updates and trends to drive continuous improvement
Support weekly team meetings with insights, KPIs, and execution plans
Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and communicate risks or blockers to leadership
Qualifications Required Qualifications
2–4 years of hands‑on experience managing or supporting ecommerce marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Walmart)
Proficiency with marketplace tools such as Rithum, Jungle Scout, Helium 10, or similar
Experience creating and publishing Amazon A+ content
Strong Excel skills (e.g., sorting, VLOOKUPs, working with large datasets)
Familiarity with SEO, product research, and copywriting best practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Detail‑oriented, curious, and proactive problem‑solver
High level of initiative and follow‑through (“say‑do” mindset)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, or related field
Basic design knowledge (e.g., image sizing, uploading creative assets)
Experience working with vendors and cross‑functional teams
Interest in contributing to strategy and process improvement
