About the Opportunity The Material Issue Operator performs a variety of activities such as inspecting, labeling, issuing, and storing copper laminates in the designated storage area.
What You’ll Do
Read and understand the standard operating procedures (SOP)
Ensure that receiving inspection is completed with verification of material certification and control number for all material received; count and log into ProCIM for tracking purposes; label and store material in the designated storage area and maintain records
Scan production traveler’s barcode to verify material availability and notify purchasing for unavailable materials
Prior to cutting materials, inspect for any damage or defects; notify purchasing for damaged or defective materials and complete NCR form for disposition
Verify the copper weight of both sides of all copper‑clad materials using a calibrated copper‑weight measurement device; verify overall core thickness with calibrated micrometer to ensure that materials meet the requirement as specified on the production traveler
Cut materials and mark all flexible laminate layers and place cardboard on both sides to protect from handling damage
Record quantity, lot number, control number and vendor on traveler and log job out on ProCIM
Deliver to appropriate job process location
Assist in training individuals and other team associates as assigned
Perform all other duties as needed
What You’ll Bring
Ability to read and interpret documents such as standard operating procedures, travelers, and safety rules in English
Ability to organize a large variety of incoming and outgoing materials
Ability to review documents for accuracy and completeness
Experience operating a forklift, or willingness to complete forklift training
Must be detail‑oriented and self‑motivated
Must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions
Must be able to work overtime as required
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) – Preferred
1 year of related experience – Preferred
Experience and understanding of inventory control in a warehouse – Preferred
ERP system experience (ProCIM or similar)
Schedule
1st Shift (7:30 am to 4:00 pm)
Monday through Friday
Overtime and weekends as needed
Job Type: Full‑time, in‑person
California Pay Range: $17 USD – $18 USD
