About the Opportunity The Manufacturing Operator Assistant performs a variety of tasks to process printed circuit board panels through various processes within one or multiple departments. These tasks may include production, assembly, inspection, or testing of circuit board components.
What You'll Do:
Follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines to complete assigned tasks
Operate manual or semi-automated equipment depending on role placement
Handle materials and components carefully to ensure product quality
Visually inspects panels after processing for non-conformances
Assist with moving finished parts to the next scheduled process
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Work with team members and management to meet production goals and timelines
Learn and apply quality standards and process controls
Perform basic documentation of completed tasks or inspection results
Participate in cross-training opportunities to learn new skills across departments
Perform all other job tasks as needed
What You'll Bring:
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
A willingness to learn and grow in a high-tech manufacturing environment
Ability to multi-task & prioritize jobs
Ability to work overtime & adapt to a fast changing work environment
Detail-oriented and self-motivated
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Dependability, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED ()
Prior manufacturing experience is a plus but not required - we provide training!
Please note that in addition to prolonged standing and walking, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 25 pounds; as well as repetitive hand motion.
Schedule:
1st Shift (7:30am to 4:00pm)
Monday through Friday
Overtime and Weekends as needed
Job Type: Full time/permanent, on site only
California Pay Range $17—$18 USD
The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
