Overview
Community Support Professional - Intensive - REACH (Roanoke Area) with a $2,500 Sign on Bonus at New River Valley Community Services. The REACH Team provides direct intensive community crisis stabilization and prevention supports to individuals diagnosed with behavioral health conditions, and develops and trains staff in individualized behavior support plans. The role involves coordinating services and resources among providers to help individuals served live and participate optimally in the community.
Responsibilities
Provide direct intensive community crisis stabilization and prevention supports to individuals with behavioral health diagnoses served by the REACH program.
Assist with development of and staff training in individualized behavior support plans.
Work as part of the REACH team to coordinate services and resources among providers as needed.
Support individuals in living and participating in the community to their fullest potential.
Starting Salary and Bonus Starting Salary: $48,750 - Depending on Experience
Starting with a $2,500 Sign on Bonus
Education and Experience Required
Master’s Degree in social work, psychology or a human services related field is required.
Virginia Board of Counseling registration as a Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adult (QMHP-A) and/or Qualified Mental Health Professional-Child (QMHP-C) status is required.
