Assistant Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life
Location: Armstrong Campus – Savannah, GA (Georgia Southern University)

Job Summary Provide support and educational opportunities to the fraternity and sorority community. Guide long‑range strategic planning and implementation to foster a dynamic fraternity and sorority environment that aligns with the University’s mission for student success.
Responsibilities
Oversee day‑to‑day operations of fraternity and sorority life on campus
Assist in setting the strategic vision and direction for Fraternity & Sorority Life
Support implementation, direction, and coordination of program assessments promoting student learning, development, and risk mitigation
Conduct research and prepare reports
Advise governing councils and executive board officers
Communicate with the fraternity and sorority office and programs
Establish and maintain partnerships with campus departments and the broader community
Supervise graduate students
Develop, implement, and facilitate training and workshops to promote leadership development, risk prevention, and academic success
Serve as resource to parents of members and as liaison between campus and national/international headquarters staff
Manage administrative functions of the department and coordinate recruitment initiatives, including Panhellenic, IFC, and NPHC intake
Oversee educational initiatives and coordinate chapter meetings and advisor/chapters events
Qualifications Educational Requirements
Master’s degree in higher education administration, student personnel administration, or related field
Required Experience
Three (3) or more years of related work experience
Experience in supervisory, program and curriculum development, implementation, and assessment
Salary $48,000–$49,000 per year (exempt, paid on a monthly basis)
