that is a leading aftermarket service provider for multi-platform OEM gas turbine power plants worldwide. The
Shipping Lead
is responsible for preparing, packaging, and processing outbound shipments in accordance with customer, carrier, and company requirements. This hands-on position supports warehouse operations by safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to stage, load, and move materials. Essential Functions
Prepare, package, and stage outbound materials for domestic and international shipments. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, strapping machines, and other warehouse material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials are properly secured and protected during transport. Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other required documentation accurately. Coordinate carrier pickups and ensure shipments are dispatched on time. Communicate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to resolve shipment issues or delays. Follow all TSA, DOT, and OSHA compliance requirements and adhere to company safety policies. Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations. Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience. Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, strapping machines, and other warehouse equipment required. Experience with RF scan guns, shipping software, and carrier portals (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) preferred. Familiarity with SAP or other MRP/ERP systems preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and accurately. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English. Must be available for overtime or weekend work as needed.
