The Opportunity
As a CACI SOF CBRNE Advisor, you will play a vital role in protecting national security by empowering Special Operations Forces (SOF) against the threat of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). Your work will enable DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), and Interagency (IA) partners to execute effective strategies for dismantling, disrupting, and defeating WMD networks.
Enhance situational awareness for SOF by developing processes that improve understanding of WMD threats.
Guide and support the warfighter in developing operational plans (CONOPs) and coordinating mission-critical technical resources.
Integrate multi-source operational and intelligence data to provide supported units with a unified and comprehensive picture of the battlespace.
Ensure operational readiness by designing and implementing training objectives that validate critical tactics and procedures.
Responsibilities As a Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) SOF CBRNE Advisor, embedded with the Special Mission Unit EOD at Fort Bragg, you will serve as a key advisor to SOF commanders and staff. You will provide expert technical and operational guidance on Crisis Response and Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) planning, training, and synchronization for deployed SOF elements. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting SOF EOD teammates and managing requests for DTRA capabilities.
Collaborating with a variety of SOF units, institutions, and partners.
Assisting with SOF pre-deployment training and preparation.
Supporting deployed units through reach-back assistance.
Traveling CONUS/OCONUS for short-duration TDY when required.
This position is contingent upon successful completion of a Command Board.
Qualifications Required:
Security Clearance: Possess a current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
Expertise: Have at least three years of experience in one or more of the following fields:
Clinical Lab Science
Medical Technologies
Microbiology
Biochemistry
Nuclear / Radioactivity Education
Nuclear Physiology
Communication: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Deployment Ready: Be able to deploy to required theaters of operation, including periodic CONUS travel and four-to-six-month OCONUS deployments.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible and rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
Education: Hold a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience, or an Associate's degree and 7 years of experience.
Desired:
Operational support experience with Special Operations Forces (SOF) units or commands.
Knowledge of the military planning cycle and tactical ground operations, with a minimum of two years of experience.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft productivity software and applications.
Strong understanding of geospatial analysis software (e.g., Google Earth) and intelligence databases (e.g., SIPR, JWICS), along with Microsoft SharePoint.
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as a collaborative team member in a joint environment.
Experience collaborating directly with Interagency (IA), Intelligence Community (IC), and coalition partners.
Recent operational experience supporting CWMD, CP, Attack the Network, CT, or C-IED efforts.
More than 10 years of functional experience in the military, academic, or defense industries.

Pay Range The proposed salary range for this position is: $78,000 - $163,800.
