Overview
Join to apply for the Multi-Unit Team Leader role at H&R Block. This role provides leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and focuses on accelerating seasonal tax business through people management and a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop associates across three tax offices; deliver outstanding client experiences and achieve office growth objectives.
Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders.
Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement.
Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions.
Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance issues with the Associate Relations Center as needed.
Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training and coaching; recognize outstanding contributions.
Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office staff.
Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management for all offices.
Travel between offices as required.
Prepare tax returns as needed, contingent on successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.*
Qualifications
People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates.
Demonstrated aptitude for growth plan execution and leading toward a growth culture.
Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
Computer proficiency with MS Office.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with the equivalent combination of experience.
Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment (if preparing tax returns)*.
