You will be responsible for:
Using power and hand tools.
Performing custodial work, including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and stocking supplies.
Painting interior and exterior surfaces.
Performing minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
Striping and refinishing floors, cleaning carpets.
Repairing locks, minor carpentry, and metal work.
Using aerial towers and bucket trucks (height not an issue).
Assisting with setup, breakdown, and maintenance at City events.

This role requires working on an alternating shift schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent and one year of construction or maintenance experience, or equivalent training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of tools and methods used in public works maintenance.
Ability to perform skilled and unskilled maintenance work, operate equipment, and follow instructions.
Ability to work safely, efficiently, and tactfully with the public.
Special requirements:
Possession of or ability to obtain a valid California driver's license and a good driving record.
