AGL, an Akima company, is seeking a highly qualified Program Manager (PM) to lead the Program Management Office (PMO) for a high-visibility federal initiative. The PM will act as the central point of contact for all contractual matters and be accountable for ensuring timely, efficient, and compliant delivery of Technical Security Systems (TSS) services across the United States.
Responsibilities
Lead the PMO and act as the primary liaison between the Contractor and the Government for the base and option years of the contract. Serve as the central point of resolution for all contractual and performance-related issues. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the original proposal, contract terms, and all modifications (executed or pending). Provide prompt verbal and written responses to all Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Collaborate closely with on-site team leads/key personnel to stay fully appraised of task status and performance. Make legally binding commitments on behalf of the Contractor. Ensure contractor personnel performance, efficiency, and alignment with contract objectives. Monitor and address escalated issues, providing program offices with strategic insight and operational updates. Be available to meet with Government personnel at any Government facility within the DC metropolitan area within one (1) hour of request. Oversee all phases of TSS support, including design, engineering, installation, maintenance, repair, and asset management. Coordinate deployment of preventive maintenance and emergency response teams to ensure continuous protection of people and information.
Qualifications
Active Top-Secret clearance. Proven experience managing large-scale government contracts and leading PMO functions. Demonstrated experience with scheduling and managing simultaneous Technical Security System (TSS) equipment installation projects (preferred). Strong knowledge of federal contract terms, compliance standards, and project delivery. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interact effectively with senior government stakeholders. Ability to make binding contractual decisions and represent the contractor at the executive level. Ability to respond rapidly to Government communications and requirements. PMP certification or 15 years of program management experience on similar-scoped projects. Background in technical security systems, perimeter protection, or physical security infrastructure. Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Maximo, MS Office Suite, Cost Point, and Deltek. US Citizen.
