Base Pay Range $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. Our team offers customers more of what they love, for less.

Ensuring high‑quality products are available in our prepared foods area.

Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser‑quality food products.

Preparing and serving ready‑to‑eat food.

Maintaining the sales floor in accordance with Company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.

Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area.

What you’ll do

Be a Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively with the members of the team; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.

Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.

Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.

Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and provide attention to customer needs; assist customers according to company policies and procedures.

Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high‑quality service and products; execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality; and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.

Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes and practices.

Hourly Wage Range The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional Compensation Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.

Preferred Qualifications

Food Service experience.

Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
