Prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. Wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure the freshest items are available to take home. Assist members with bakery orders when juggling multiple tasks in a short amount of time. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area. Ensure high-quality products are available in the prepared foods area; maintain temperature control and verify expiration dates; dispose of lesser-quality food products. Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food and maintain the Sales Floor in accordance with company policies and procedures, including handling claims and returns, zoning the area, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. What you'll do
Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross-functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with teammates; adapt to the needs of the business. Be an Expert: prepare food according to item specifications; plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate and sanitize equipment; understand product and layout execution. Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to make production, training, and product quality decisions with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: drive area performance; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and assist customers according to company policies. Be a Talent Ambassador: advocate for the department and club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area; model high-quality service and products; demonstrate energy, commitment, and passion. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; apply Open Door Policy in business processes and practices.
