Job Location:
Maple Grove or Eden Prairie, MN
Responsibilities
Effectively lead and manage activities and people on transportation civil engineering projects as well as manage project budgets.
Assure that designs are in accordance with federal, city and DOT specifications.
Prepare or oversee detailed engineering analyses, schedules, technical reports, etc.
Create and foster a project team culture of superior service for the customer.
Interact with clients, regulatory agencies, and the public as necessary for project completion. In addition, work on business development activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering, Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering, or related Engineering field.
Professional Engineer license in the applicable state you work or the ability to obtain license within 6 months.
8+ years of experience in the design and construction of state DOT and county highway projects preferred.
Excellent leadership and project management skills.
Working knowledge of project team roles and responsibilities.
Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes.
Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with groups both internally and externally.
Benefits & Compensation As part of our talented staff, you will enjoy competitive pay and significate annual bonuses. The estimated rate of pay is $96,407 - $120,509 depending on experience.
