The substitute nurse provides direct nursing services to students in order to maximize health and wellness in the school community. Duties are to be performed in accordance with standards of professional school nurse practice, the IL Nursing and Advanced Practice Nursing Act, and District and State Board of Education policies and procedures. The position requires a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois, a Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution, and current CPR and First Aid certification.
