Blue Horizon Energy LLC is hiring multiple Solar Technicians to support our growing portfolio of commercial solar energy projects in Maine. In this role, you’ll join a fast‑paced, highly collaborative construction crew focused on delivering clean energy solutions that power businesses, farms, and communities. You’ll work directly with electricians, apprentices, and other skilled trades to install and support solar, battery, and EV charging systems. This is a full‑time, long‑term opportunity for someone who enjoys physical, hands‑on work and is excited to grow within the clean energy industry. Drive time may be required depending on project location, but overnight travel is not typically necessary. Who We Are

Assist with installation of solar panels, racking systems, and related infrastructure. Support licensed electricians with electrical construction activities. Maintain jobsite cleanliness, organization, and safety standards. Read and follow basic site plans and installation diagrams. Operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment. Travel to project sites throughout Maine (daily drive time may apply). Work cooperatively with installation crew and project managers to meet timelines. Qualifications
2+ years of construction or labor experience preferred. Experience in solar or electrical work is a plus, but not required. Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in various conditions. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. Willingness to travel to remote project sites (per diem available if needed). OSHA training/certifications helpful, but not required.
