Overview BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Interventional Radiologic Technologist - Advanced Modality at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Interventional Radiology Mallinckrodt Dept.

New grads, upcoming grads, and experienced Radiologic Technologists are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Works independently with a multidisciplinary team performing fluoroscopic imaging procedures

Performs image post processing and circulating procedures

PDP program

Radiology Leadership Development Program

Work/Life Balance

Siemens Fluoro units, GE Ultrasound, Epic

Position Details

Full-Time (36 hours per week)

10 Hour Day Shifts - 4 Days per Week: 7:30am-6pm (Mon-Fri)

Call Rotation Required for Week Overnights & Weekends

Week Overnight Call Rotation (1 shift within one or two weeks): Monday - Thursday (6pm-7:30am)

Weekend Call Rotation (occurring every 10th or 11th weekend): Friday (6pm) to Saturday (8am) & Saturday (4pm) to Monday (7:30am) - Saturdays (0800-1600) 3-4 times per year

Experience/Training Path: No IR Tech experience necessary; willing to train

X-ray techs may cross-train into Interventional Radiology

Requirements

Associate degree or higher in related field

Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose: Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment

Minimum Requirements

Education: Associate degree or equivalent

Licenses & Certifications: RT(R) / Radiography
