Key Responsibilities
Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines aligned with strategic objectives.
Assess project risks and define mitigation plans.
Leadership & Team Management
Direct project managers, superintendents, and support teams.
Monitor performance and promote a collaborative, high‑performing environment.
Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and vendors.
Act as the primary point of contact for key project communications.
Manage project budgets, cash flow, and cost controls.
Analyze financial performance and implement cost‑effective strategies.
Quality & Safety
Oversee project compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Promote a proactive culture of safety and accountability.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate project records, permits, and change orders.
Provide executive‑level reporting on project status, risks, and financials.
Qualifications
7‑10+ years of progressive experience managing heavy civil construction projects
Proven track record with large‑scale DOT, municipal, and public works projects
Strong command of compliance, permitting, and construction specifications
Expertise in project scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project)
Proficient with construction management software (Vista, B2W, HCSS, Procore, or similar)
Knowledgeable in concrete/asphalt paving, structures, utilities, and earthwork
Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
