We are seeking a
Additive Manufacturing Technician
to join a dynamic product development team focused on precision and innovation.
About the Role
As a Technician, you’ll play a key role in
prototype fabrication
and product development. From concept through design, prototyping, testing, and production, you’ll help bring advanced products to life. This role requires hands-on operation of 3D printing systems, post-processing equipment, and meticulous machine maintenance.
You will collaborate closely with engineers and designers to refine processes, improve designs, and ensure prototypes meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Safely handle powder feedstock materials and operate 3D additive printing systems.
Set up and run post-printing and powder removal processes.
Maintain detailed records and adhere to quality and safety protocols.
Perform regular maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of machines.
Support process improvement and innovation initiatives.
Keep the workspace clean and organized.
Work collaboratively to take products from concept through production.
Qualifications
2 years’ experience
in additive manufacturing.
Experience with
3D Systems additive manufacturing machines
is a plus.
Background in
machining or model making , ideally in medical or precision-engineered products.
Familiarity with CNC, manual milling, lathes, or EDM machining is advantageous.
Experience with design/CAM software:
Creo, Magics, 3D Expert, Mastercam , or similar.
Associate’s degree
in Additive Manufacturing or
Bachelor’s in Engineering
with relevant coursework.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Windows).
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
Ability to wear PPE (helmet, respirator, heat shroud) for extended periods when required.
