We’re looking for a Mechanical Drafter who takes pride in creating accurate, detailed drawings that bridge the gap between design and production. If you're passionate about precision, enjoy turning concepts into clear documentation, and thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. The Mechanical Drafter will support the engineering and manufacturing teams by creating, revising, and maintaining technical documentation that meets our high standards for accuracy, manufacturability, and clarity. You’ll produce 2D drawings, 3D models, and SPC inspection documents, while managing files through SolidWorks PDM and supporting internal documentation systems. This is a
full-time, on-site role
based at our
Marlborough, MA headquarters . Responsibilities:
Create and revise detailed
2D drawings and 3D models
using SolidWorks for production, prototyping, and documentation Translate engineering designs into manufacturable component drawings Support shop floor operations with accurate and up-to-date technical drawings Assist with new product release documentation and
Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) Create and update
SPC (Statistical Process Control)
sheets for in-process inspection Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with
ASME Y14.5 Organize and manage drawing files using
SolidWorks PDM Prepare and revise
Bills of Materials (BOMs)
and other supporting documentation Participate in design reviews and incorporate team feedback into final documents Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering ,
Drafting , or a related field 2–5 years
of experience in technical drafting, preferably in a manufacturing environment Strong proficiency in
SolidWorks
for parts, assemblies, and drawings Understanding of engineering drawings, tolerancing, and
GD&T per ASME Y14.5 Experience with
Microsoft Office tools
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Familiarity with
SolidWorks PDM
or similar product data management tools Ability to work from
redlines ,
sketches , and
