Patient Care Coordinator - Gold Country Hearing job at CQ Partners. Sacramento, CA.
Gold Country Hearing in Sacramento, CA is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to manage the front office and represent our practice with professionalism.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and manages an effective patient schedule by converting inbound/outbound calls into appropriate appointments.
Ensure the patient has the best experience possible with timely and courteous interactions throughout the patient experience.
Execute the appointment reminder process with pre-calls at 48 hours prior to appointment.
Answer the multi-line phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette and handles the caller’s needs or directs the caller to the appropriate party.
Register new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information including personal, insurance, and financial information.
Facilitate patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff.
Respond to inquiries by patients, prospective patients, & visitors in a courteous manner.
Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain any other necessary data to ensure the patient has the best experience possible.
Provide patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents in advance via email.
Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits as necessary.
Call on existing patients to promote new products and services.
Apply training and development to achieve companion attendance rate, out of warranty rate, cancellation / no-show rate, referral rate, and in-bound calls to appointment rate.
Overcome objections through the use of scripts and objection-handling training.
Participates in ongoing training and development through weekly conference calls and occasional classes.
Keep the reception area clean and organized.
Maintain patient privacy in compliance with HIPAA federal guidelines and practice policies.
Support providers to ensure they are providing the best patient care.
Position Qualifications:
High School Diploma required, Associates degree preferred
2 years front office experience
Must be computer literate in all Microsoft Office programs
Must be able to work well independently and be detailed-oriented and organized
The ideal candidate will also possess:
Excellent people and customer service skills
Ability to handle heavy phone work and provide top-notch service
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Prior medical/healthcare office experience a plus
Independent worker, thinks on their feet
What We Offer:
$23-28/hr. total comp
Group Health Insurance. Company covers $500 toward premium (must be full-time)
2 weeks PTO accrued annually and 6 sick days per year
