Tina's Burritos is the leading CPG brand of frozen single serve burritos in America and is owned by Camino Real Foods, Inc. We bake up a million budget friendly burritos in our Los Angeles, CA factory daily and serve them to burrito lovers who appreciate great taste, convenience, and quick meals filled with important daily nutrients. All of our products are slow cooked in large kettles so the spices and flavors meld together for a flavor profile that is the industry leader, and then flash frozen for freshness. From Moms to Movie Stars, many customers write in and say they have been "addicted" to our burritos since 1984 when we first started making them. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance, repairs and installation of machinery and equipment, advanced diagnostic troubleshooting, as well as complete teardown, rebuild and remanufacture of machinery and related systems. Mentor the department technicians in all preventative and proactive maintenance functions of the equipment in production. Demonstrate a team-oriented approach with excellent communication within the departments and the ability to identify problems with team members before issues arise. Troubleshoot and replace faulty machine components such as motors, drives, PLC controls, programming, commissioning/start-up of control systems, gearboxes, tooling equipment, blow mold equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, AC and DC drives and control systems. Execute daily machine checks, lubrication, machine start-up, clean-up, changeovers and adjustments to maintain operational efficiency. Perform general electrical work including layouts, assembling, installing and testing electrical apparatus, measuring, cutting, threading and bending conduit, and installing, modifying and repairing panel boxes, remote control equipment, motors, power and lighting circuits. Maintain control equipment, general instrumentation and electrical control systems to carry out first-line diagnostic, troubleshooting and maintenance work. Read and understand electrical schematic diagrams and industrial three-phase 240V and 480V power distribution and VFD wiring practices. Troubleshoot, program and/or replace PLCs equipment. Apply welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) as needed in plant operations. Operate various power tools safely, including torque wrenches, calipers, and gauges. Ensure all work complies with EPA, OSHA, NED, NFPA70 standards. Manage parts and supply inventory. Maintain excellent documentation and communication skills, both oral and written. Perform root cause failure analysis to prevent recurrence of maintenance issues. Fulfill duties and activities as directed by management and participate in continuous improvement and safety requirements. Other Duties & Responsibilities
Occasional overtime, weekends as necessary; perform repairs and maintenance with a sense of urgency. Ability to work independently and demonstrate leadership and mentorship in a teamwork-driven environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to follow through on commitments. Ability to multi-task within a matrix organization structure. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Participate in ongoing safety, ISO and quality training. Requirements
(Education, Experience, Certifications, Skills) Electrical certification or experience in electromechanical technology or similar (industrial maintenance, electronics technology) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
