The
Applicator and Operations Specialist
performs custom application for the location by executing the following duties personally or with support from other plant personnel. As an operations attendant, duties may include equipment maintenance, plant and rolling stock operation, forklift and loader operation, tender truck operation, filling and delivering NH3 tanks, loading customer vehicles with product, unloading deliveries, and other related duties. Work Quality Loads and unloads outbound and inbound inventory. Delivers products and services sold by Key Cooperative to customers. Precisely blends and applies fertilizers and agricultural chemicals according to recommendations and label instructions. Work Schedules Completes all assigned tasks based on work order estimates and daily schedule. Maintains applicator logs and reports as scheduled. Maintains reliable attendance and plans time off in advance. Customer Service Informs the Location Manager of operational, customer, vendor, or employee issues. Promotes the business with existing and potential customers. Maintains a positive attitude towards customers and employees, demonstrating good customer relations skills. General Duties Performs preventive maintenance and submits reports on time. Supports and promotes all Key Cooperative programs. Safety & Organization Maintains neat and orderly work areas inside and outside. Follows all safety policies, guidelines, and programs established by Key Cooperative. Completes safety reports and required documentation. Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED; 1-3 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations USDA grain weighing and grading license. Pest Control Applicators License of grade 7-E (beneficial). Class A CDL with endorsements.
