Citibank, N.A. seeks a Commercial Subsidiaries Group Relationship Manager for its New York, New York location.

Responsibilities Partner with product specialists to provide a full array of corporate banking solutions to serve the financial needs of multi‑national clients. Understand the unique needs of each client and effectively deliver with innovative solutions covering a wide range of financial service areas, from cash management, foreign exchange, trade finance, custody and clearing, to loans, capital markets, derivatives, and structured products. Partner with investment bankers to deliver solutions that can provide investment banking capabilities to global clients. Drive Citi’s global network initiatives to enhance access of the bank’s subsidiaries within the Citi network focusing in LATAM and EMEA to the global services and solutions. Use knowledge of local industries and markets to deliver a steady stream of innovative financial solutions tailored to the specific local needs and subsidiaries of LATAM and EMEA. Call on clients to deepen relationships and proactively own, respond to, uncover, and anticipate future needs, roadblocks, risks and expectations. Introduce solutions to clients in building and strengthening an effective portfolio. Work with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure customized solutions. Work closely with Case Managers on the onboarding and retention of clients, ensuring the appropriate “Know Your Client” (KYC) and other compliance deliverables are met. Identify cross‑sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet. Maximize client experience by proactively sharing markets updates, trend and intelligence. Drive continued innovation in the solutions provided to clients and further develop business where necessary and appropriate. Network with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities. Administrate credit relationship of the client, coordinating and supervising the entire process to ensure proper application of policies and institutional processes. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi’s policies and guidelines. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, or related field and 6 years of progressive, post‑baccalaureate experience as a Corporate Regional Relationship Manager, Relationship Banker, or related position involving marketing and implementation of global banking solutions for LATAM companies and subsidiaries of EMEA, NAM and APAC based multinational institutional and commercial clients. 6 years of experience must include: credit finance products, investment banking products, industry credit policies and credit parameters; advanced level of early warning detection skills; banking products such as foreign exchange solutions for currencies trading and hedging solutions to cover interest‑rate, FX and commodities risks; track record of international treasury and cash management solutions; LATAM and EMEA local policies and procedures including cross‑border business operations, credit and business practices, financing instruments and KYC regulation; debt rating models and returns on risk capital models; customer relationship management tools including Salesforce; and relationship management with institutional clients, within the commercial and corporate bank for subsidiaries of multinational companies. Compensation Wage Range: $179,088 to $179,088.
