Location: South Hackensack, NJ

Warehouse Operations Manager.
This individual is responsible for leading the daily operations of our South Hackensack warehouse, ensuring production goals are met, warehouse processes are streamlined, and the team is executing at a high level to support the retail network. This role also oversees the production of salvage programs, as well as waste reduction initiatives within the warehouse. The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, and focused on delivering operational efficiency, speed, and safety while maximizing the impact of every donation.
The Awesome Things You’ll Do
Oversee day-to-day operations of the South Hackensack warehouse to ensure high efficiency, accuracy, and productivity
Execute salvage program within the warehouse, ensuring production goals are hit
Ensure smooth coordination between warehouse operations and the retail network by maintaining accurate, timely, and consistent inventory flow
Partner closely with the logistics team to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries to retail locations, supporting revenue and customer experience
Manage and schedule warehouse staff based on operational needs, while fostering a high-performing, mission-driven team culture
Maintain a strong focus on safety, speed, and continuous improvement throughout all warehouse functions
Utilize inventory systems and reporting tools to drive accuracy, streamline workflows, and support operational decisions
Apply lean principles and continuous improvement practices to identify inefficiencies and improve warehouse performance
Ensure all donations are properly sorted, processed, and utilized to support the organization's mission and minimize waste
Track performance metrics and production goals, ensuring targets are consistently met or exceeded
The Experiences, Skills and Perspectives You’ll Bring
2+ years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics; retail or nonprofit warehouse experience preferred
Hands-on leadership style with a focus on team development, accountability, and operational excellence
Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to improve performance
Knowledge of lean operations, continuous improvement, and warehouse best practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities
Passion for mission-driven work and maximizing social impact
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

$80,000 to $88,000
