For additional information on remote work at Penn State, see .** **JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS**Penn State Brandywine, located just outside of Philadelphia, in Media, Pa., is seeking a part-time golf tennis coach. Penn State Brandywine is an NCAA DIII Provisional member that is competing in the United East Conference. Penn State Brandywine is working towards full NCAA membership.# Job Duties* Manage all operations for the golf program.* Recruit and retain high quality student-athletes.* Schedule and coach practices.* Schedule home and away competitions.* Monitor annual operational and recruiting budgets.* Ensure institutional, UEC, and NCAA obligations are met as head coach.# Requirements and Qualifications* Minimum of 3 years coaching experience at the collegiate or high school level.* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.* *Ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold*. **BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES**This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
