Job Summary: The Inventory Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining accurate and efficient inventory levels to support production operations within our warehouse. Responsibilities include verifying components against production orders, managing material movement, organizing storage solutions, and ensuring data integrity in inventory systems. The role also involves providing backup support for shipping duties, assisting with order fulfillment and shipment preparation as needed. The ideal candidate demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless manufacturing and logistics workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain precise, real-time records of all inventory items, including incoming materials, outgoing products, and supplies. Ensure data accuracy in all systems. Review inventory levels regularly, identify potential shortages or overstock situations, and coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely replenishment. Conduct scheduled physical counts, reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system data, and investigate causes of variances. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, production, and sales teams to optimize inventory processes and support operational efficiency. Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure a high level of accuracy in data entry and inventory management. Analyze inventory data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions. Prioritize tasks, manage responsibilities, and maintain an organized workspace. Communicate clearly with diverse teams and external suppliers. Use inventory management software, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data entry tools proficiently. Work collaboratively and assist team members as needed. Adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.

What You Bring:

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or technical certification in logistics, supply chain, or related fields preferred. 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or related roles. Experience with inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) is highly desirable. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for inventory calculations and data entry accuracy.
