Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing:****What Are We Looking For:****What We Offer:*** Competitive base salary of $73,570 - $95,644 and participation in our annual incentive plan.* Highly competitive benefits programs.* 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions.**Work Environment:*** Collaborative and dynamic work environment.* Opportunities for professional growth and development.* Commitment to diversity and inclusion.* After the initial training period, this position will work a 12-hour rotational shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disable* Monitoring the cement manufacturing process from the centralized operations center and analyzing the equipment status, process parameters, and alarms to ensure the plant operates within specified parameters* Identifying and troubleshooting process and equipment issues in a timely manner and collaborating with plant and HROC teams to resolve problems to minimize downtime and production losses.* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of process parameters, equipment readings, and operational activities as required to assist in the analysis of operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.* Ensuring safe and continuous operation, product quality, and compliance with environmental requirements in coordination with plant personnel and other HROC staff.* Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree, preferably Chemical, Industrial or Manufacturing. Technical certifications or vocational training in process operations or a related field may substitute for a degree.* Previous experience in a similar industrial environment is desirable, but not required due to the comprehensive training program. This position offers a unique opportunity for a 6-to-8-month training period that includes comprehensive training in the cement manufacturing process/equipment and key responsibilities.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy and precision.* Excellent communication and the ability to collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production personnel.* Ability to travel in both the United States and Canada as required.
