Quality Inspector
Location:
Sylmar, CA (On-Site)
Pay Range: $26–$27/hour
Overview: We’re seeking a detail-oriented
Quality Inspector
to perform inspection and testing of materials, components, and finished products in a regulated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has experience with dimensional and visual inspection, quality documentation, and use of measurement tools to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections per written procedures and specifications.
Operate test and measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) according to work instructions.
Record inspection and test data accurately in the appropriate quality systems.
Identify and document non-conformances in the Non-Conforming Material Review (NCMR) system.
Collect data for
First Article Inspections (FAI)
and participate in
Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R)
studies.
Support
Quality Management System (QMS)
and
Environmental Management System (EMS)
compliance activities.
May assist in training other inspectors and recommending process improvements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical coursework or certifications preferred.
1–3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with ISO, FDA, or similar regulated quality systems.
Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and using inspection tools.
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.
