Controls Project Manager
to join our team. This role is responsible for managing assigned projects to meet customer requirements regarding timing, quality, and cost. The individual must provide leadership and direction through teamwork within the Controls Engineering Department and other departments at HIROTEC America. Knowledge of PLC programming languages, operator interface programming, and hardware design. Designing and commissioning electrical hardware and software systems for machine controls, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. Developing project milestones in collaboration with the Project Management Department. Providing cost estimates for controls design and construction. Ensuring all designs meet customer standards. Travel to customer sites may be required. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or 5+ years of controls experience, with machine tool experience preferred. A strong understanding of engineering fundamentals is essential. Proficiency in computer skills such as job costing, accounting, project milestone techniques, time management, and leadership is also required. We offer an excellent work environment and benefits!
