Contribute to the development of genetically fixed root-knot nematode resistant peanut lineages based on elite germplasm from the Southeast. (25%) Genome and transcriptome shock analysis in the synthetic allotetraploid BatSten1. (15%) Confirmation of root-knot nematode resistance in peanut advance backcrossed lines using in vitro bioassays. (15%) Evaluation of resistance in the field. (10%) Manuscript writing. (10%) Assist with daily lab operations, supervise students and technicians, and perform other duties as assigned. (25%)
