Henry Ford Health General Summary Contingent - Day Shift - Weekday & Rotating Weekends at Providence Rochester Day Shift-7:00a-3:30p (some flexibility) – covering Acute Care, IPR & Outpatient; covering for vacations, holidays & high volume + weekend on-call, once every 4-6 weeks. Evaluates and treats patients requiring speech-language therapy. Responsibilities
Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient. Educates and counsels patient and family regarding treatment plans. Maintains clinical records and follows performance improvement recommendations. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from speech therapy services. Provides information regarding appropriate support programs. Qualifications - External
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited graduate program; Successful completion of the National Praxis Examination; Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year. One year of experience in a clinical setting required. Licensures And Certifications Required
The State of Michigan license; Certificate of Clinical Competence by ASHA Additional Information
