Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Urology Summary: Under the direction of a Radiologist, the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer role performs ultrasound procedures for use in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.

Current MaineHealth Employees not eligible — must be separated from MH for at least 6 months. Relocation for approved offers!

Overview Summary: Under the direction of a Radiologist, the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer role performs ultrasound procedures for use in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of disease.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience to be eligible for registration as a Sonographer through the American Registry of Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).

License/Certifications: Current ARDMS Certification or full registration in at least one specialty area as required by departmental/local health system requirements. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

Experience: Six months of Diagnostic Ultrasound experience preferred.

Additional Skills/Requirements: N/A
