Under the direction of a Radiologist, the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer performs ultrasound procedures to aid in evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of disease. Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience to be eligible for registration as a Sonographer through American Registry of Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Licenses/Certifications: Current ARDMS Certification or full registration in at least one specialty area as required by departmental/local health system standards. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Experience: Six months of Diagnostic Ultrasound experience preferred.
