Associate's Degree or Diploma in Allied Health Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree) Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS), or Doctor of Chiropractic license Knowledge in radiography equipment, radiation safety practices, minor industrial injury care, light duty and BWC processes Up to 1 year of experience in a clinical Allied Health medical/physician office setting Job Overview

Under the direction of the Physician/Radiologist and the supervision of the manager or supervisor, the Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. This role is crucial for delivering quality radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician, adhering to department policies and procedures, and working effectively with patients and families to provide exceptional care. Performing quality radiographic procedures Maintaining a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental team members Complying with infection prevention procedures Keeping accurate records Ensuring radiation safety Involvement in student education, orientation of new employees, and quality assurance Caring for equipment Admitting and discharging patients, taking vital signs and patient history at specific locations Actively participating in customer service areas and communicating effectively to resolve client concerns and requests Accepting responsibilities of other staff, including the supervisor, in their absence or as required Working Conditions
