Job Overview/Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team. The role involves delivering advanced physiotherapy services, supporting clinical excellence, and supervising junior staff and students within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients within a relevant clinical setting. Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes. Act as a clinical leader, supporting and supervising junior physiotherapists, support staff, and students. Contribute to service development and implementation of best practices. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participate in continuing professional development and training programs.
Primary Skills
Degree in a relevant therapy profession. Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). Evidence of comprehensive clinical experience in physiotherapy. Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions.
Secondary Skills (Good To Have)
Master’s degree or equivalent (or currently working towards it). Completion of a Clinical Educators Course. Experience in supervision and mentoring of staff and students. Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio, including attendance at recent and relevant postgraduate courses.
Qualifications
Degree in Physiotherapy (or related therapy profession). Registered with HCPC. Postgraduate qualifications and evidence of ongoing CPD desirable.
