Overview
Shift: Primarily Days with some late night (evenings) and on call/call per unit needs. Full-time positions available, primarily days with late requirements and on-call requirements, 10-hour shifts. Responsibilities
The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) will prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures, including the setup of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment. They must be able to anticipate equipment required during procedures, operate equipment, and maintain sterile instruments. Cardiovascular Technologists (CVT) will be required to function in multiple roles of the procedure team, including scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor. Good organizational skills are a must. Must be a Radiologic Technologist (RCIS) or meet the NYS requirements to be grandfathered into Public Health law 2824. Experience and Skills
Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever. Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience Required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo. Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty. Critical care or Cardiac Experience Required. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT (prefers ARRT). Must Haves
2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience RCIS BLS ACLS Skills
2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience: Required Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI: Required COVID vaccine card showing fully completed COVID series: Required BLS (AHA): Required ACLS: Required
