Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens Travel Nursing Location: Rochester, NY 14642 (New York healthcare jobs) Facility Setting: Inpatient and outpatient procedural labs (Cardiac Cath Lab & Electrophysiology Labs) Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Assignment Start Date: September 29, 2025 End Date: January 24, 2026 Assignment Duration: 17 weeks Shifts: 3x12 hour days per week (7:00am – 7:30pm) Hours per Week: 36 On-Call/Weekends/Holidays: As per unit needs Estimated Weekly Salary: $2810 - $2880 Cath Lab RN Qualifications
Active New York RN license (Registered Nurse) Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Moderate sedation training Telemetry and dysrhythmia monitoring experience Proficiency with TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman cardiac procedures Experience with Right and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever Mechanical Circulatory Support: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, LVAD Structural Heart procedures: TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, ASA Critical care or cardiac nursing experience required Cardiovascular certification (e.g., RCES) preferred Familiarity with device and ablation procedures/equipment is a plus EP Lab (Electrophysiology) experience preferred Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
Deliver pre- and post-procedural care for cardiac patients in the Cath and EP Labs Collaborate with Cardiovascular Technologists (CVT) and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Assist in mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for complex cardiac conditions Perform and monitor advanced cardiac procedures and interventions, including structural heart and vascular cases Participate in on-call, weekend, holiday, and charge nurse duties as required Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical excellence Apply now
