The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Ambulatory service When you join our team of over 45 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole‑person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew. We serve patients Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealth’s mission in the communities we serve.

As a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting you will provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings. Utilizes process improvement in achieving the goals of the Sports Med and Rehab Department. Accept the responsibility to practice autonomously and collaboratively in all practice environments to provide best practice to the patient / client. Autonomous practice is characterized by independent, self‑determined, professional judgment and action.

The role you’ll contribute: The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients as medically prescribed, in a professional manner and within hospital standards, adhering to the corporate compliance plan and all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies, and accrediting bodies.

Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department / hospital policy and procedures.

Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.

Performs evaluations and re‑evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.

Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships. Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]

Entry level competency of physical therapy practice, theory, principles, and applications as defined in competency/department policies [Required]

Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Physical Therapist (PT) [Required] OR

Physical Therapist - Temporary (PT‑TEMP) [Required]
