Certified Medical Assistant - AdventHealth Location: Orlando, FL Schedule: Full Time Shift: Monday-Friday The role involves providing appropriate patient care under general supervision, greeting patients, obtaining clinical information, and handling financial and demographic information. You will assist providers during treatment and examination, may assist with procedures and medication administration as ordered by the provider, perform office duties (e.g., verifying insurance, collecting copays, scheduling necessary appointments). Assist with screenings per physician orders and enter information accurately at the time of service or results Perform clinical intake according to AHMG policy and procedures May assist with minor procedures related to specialty areas May be required to travel as needed to fulfill staffing needs Maintain education requirements for the position and demonstrate competency as required Ensure efficient office flow by preparing patient and equipment for treatment and document results in the practice's designated system when appropriate Minimum Qualifications
High School Grad or Equivalent Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - AAMA, or AMCA, or AMT, or NCMA, or NHA, or NRCMA, or ARMA Preferred Qualifications
