Overview Manager, Health Economics and Outcomes Research & Real-World Evidence (HEOR & RWE) will support planning and conduct of real-world and economic evidence generation initiatives to distinguish the value of Ipsen products for healthcare providers, population-health decision makers, and other external stakeholders and ensure appropriate access to Ipsen medicines. The HEOR & RWE Manager will support the US HEOR team with scientific rigor in the operational design and conduct of US HEOR & RWE studies and the effective communication of results to external audiences. This role will also work with cross-functional commercial, scientific and operational teams including Medical Affairs, Procurement, Global HEOR and RWE, Clinical Operations, Legal, Regulatory and Pharmacovigilance to ensure that US HEOR & RWE plans are conducted in compliance with all IPSEN policies and procedures. Additionally, the US HEOR & RWE Manager will support start-up of population health research.

Responsibilities

Play a central role in driving effective cross-functional collaboration and timely execution of US HEOR & RWE evidence generation in alignment to medical and commercial strategy.

Support the design, conduct, and publication of scientifically rigorous US HEOR & RWE studies and projects, related to the real-world clinical, humanistic, and economic impact of Ipsen products.

Support the development of materials, including AMCP dossiers, budget impact models, and value communication resources to support customer engagements.

Ensure all steps of the research process are planned and executed within agreed upon timelines and to the highest standards of quality.

Participate in all project-related meetings pertaining to study execution and ensure subsequent publication of study findings consistent with scientific communication plans.

Track budgets and timelines and ensure appropriate processes are followed for internal approval and execution of US HEOR & RWE projects.

Comply with all regulatory laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Ipsen.

Stay informed on the latest methodological advances that expand and enhance HEOR research.

Knowledge & Experience (essential)

0-2 years of relevant experience; completion of a formal fellowship in HEOR or RWE or relevant area may be considered as part of the experience requirement.

Experience presenting HEOR or RWE research to external audiences, including at scientific conferences or in field-based roles is a plus.

Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments while maintaining flexibility and adaptability.

Proactive and collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to develop realistic plans and recommendations.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management capabilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams, as well as with external partners and vendors.

Broad understanding of the US healthcare reimbursement systems.

Willingness and ability to travel approximately 15% of the time.

Education / Certifications (essential)

Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MS, MPH) in Health Services Research, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Pharmacy, or a related field is required.

The annual base salary range for this position is $91,500-$134,200. This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentives program.

The pay range displayed above is the range of base pay compensation within which Ipsen expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and demonstrated skills.
