Case Manager
plays a crucial role in providing compassionate support and guidance through the reunification or repatriation process for children in care. Responsibilities include assessing the unique needs and circumstances of each child, coordinating and guiding sponsors and children through the reunification or repatriation process, identifying resources in the community, and advocating for their rights and well-being. The Case Manager collaborates with the child, parents, sponsor(s), legal representatives, and government agencies to ensure an expedited but safe reunification or repatriation. Sign-on bonus: $3,000
Essential Functions Case Management Operations: Oversee the comprehensive management of case services, ensuring adherence to protocols for child and sponsor evaluations, human trafficking screenings, and the expedited and secure discharge of minors.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain meticulous documentation to ensure compliance with VisionQuest, State, and Federal regulations; review assessments, Family Reunification Packets, and related documents for accuracy prior to submission.
Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate submission of all reports and deliverables in accordance with ORR guidelines, state licensing requirements, and VisionQuest incident reporting policies.
Communication and Coordination: Maintain ongoing communication with ORR for safe and timely child release; maintain regular contact with outside stakeholders including assigned case coordinators, child attorneys, and child advocates.
Know Your Rights Presentations: Coordinate with local pro bono attorneys for timely provision of presentations to children.
Referrals and Services: Assist with referrals and coordination of any specialty services; maintain professional communication with all stakeholders including child sponsors and family members.
Logistics and Travel: Ensure timely travel arrangements for discharge after case approval; coordinate travel for program staff transporting children for reunification or transfer (may include booking airfare, hotel, and rental car).
Compliance and Training: Document all case management actions and communications; maintain an understanding of VisionQuest, licensing, and ORR policies; incorporate updates promptly.
Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Google Drive) with the ability to learn new software.
Proficient in reading, interpreting and applying ORR policies and procedures.
Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields required.
Child welfare and/or case management experience is strongly encouraged.
ORR Case Management experience is highly preferred.
A minimum of one year of related work experience is preferred.
Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
Flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays) to support program services.
Cleared tuberculosis test results; must pass a drug test; must provide proof of required vaccinations.
Cleared background checks, including Child Abuse and Neglect and FBI checks.
Obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive for program services.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements May lift and carry up to 10 pounds frequently, up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds infrequently.
Performs tasks that may involve standing or walking about 50% of the day; sitting about 50% of the day.
Must be able to provide First Aid and CPR.
Must be able to perform physical holds as instructed in CPI training.
The pay range for this role is
$28.89 per hour .
