Overview
Outpatient Endocrinology Opening in Kingston, NY (90 minutes from New York City). Northern Dutchess Hospital, affiliated with Nuvance Health, is seeking a full-time outpatient Endocrinologist to join our established and busy employed practice in Kingston, NY with an APRN. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and board certified/eligible in Endocrinology and be interested in joining a dedicated and collegial team with some teaching responsibility to residents and medical students. The position is completely outpatient with no call responsibilities. This is an adult-only, Monday-Friday practice. There is potential to expand coverage to other area office locations as the practice grows to meet the needs of our large primary care referral base. There may be flexibility to work a few days in Kingston and a few days in Poughkeepsie if mutually agreeable. Responsibilities
Practice is outpatient only with no call responsibilities. Provide endocrine care to adult patients, with potential teaching responsibilities to residents and medical students. Possible coverage expansion to additional area office locations as the practice grows. Collaborate with an established team including an APRN and other primary care colleagues. Qualifications
MD or DO with NY State and Federal Narcotic Use Registration. Completed Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency and board certified in either; completed a full Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and board certified or board eligible. Preferred: prior experience as an Endocrinologist; new graduates are welcome to apply. Compensation & Benefits
Competitive total compensation package including base salary, incentive pay, paid time off, CME time off and allowance, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401k match.
