LPN - Atrium Health Skilled Nursing - Stanly Manor - PT Evenings Location: Abermarle, NC on 9 acres. Stanly Manor is a 90-bed skilled nursing facility providing short term rehab, long term care, palliative care and hospice care. The facility has on-site MD or PA/NP 4-5 days a week and has been recognized for quality care. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus; Atrium Health offers robust benefits, paid time off, and educational assistance. Job Summary

Performs nursing care and assists with planning and implementing care for the comfort and well-being of patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Maintains a safe working environment and demonstrates clinical and professional competency appropriate to patient ages and needs. Essential Functions

Participates in patient assessments by determining nursing care needs based on data collection and interpretation. Recognizes and determines need for immediate intervention. Documents patient observations, treatments, responses, and nursing care using the nursing process; participates in treatment and assists with procedures. Assists with development or revision of the plan of care by providing data and identifying goals and interventions for RN review. Communicates with clinical staff about significant patient changes. Implements the identified plan under RN supervision; ensures tasks are completed. Tracks patient progress and goals via documentation in medical records. Organizes workload and prioritizes responsibilities to deliver quality care efficiently. Maintains current nursing practice and performs only skills within legal boundaries and facility policies. Documents assessments, procedures, education, and communication to appropriate healthcare team members in a timely manner. Provides and assesses effectiveness of patient and family education under RN direction within legal scope. Physical Requirements

Typically requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds. Fluent English required. Must have intact senses and fine motor skills. Ability to respond quickly to changes in patient and unit conditions. A physical ability test is required as a condition of employment. Education, Experience And Certifications

Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing required. BLS required per policy guidelines. Current LPN licensure or temporary license as a licensed practical nurse is required. Pay Range
